As a part of Australia Capital Territory Government’s Emergency Services, Maintenance and Training Facility Project, Forestrack engaged JJR to conduct a Traffic Impact Assessment along Hume Street at Hume, Canberra.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s experienced team completed the Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA), which included a detailed review of the existing infrastructure and assessment of access arrangements and sight distances onto Sheppard Street. Various assessment scenarios were examined including the traffic impact at different stages throughout a 10-year period from commencement. A Safety in Design Risk Assessment and the estimation of peak-hour traffic demands was performed at major intersections within a 2km radius.
