Department of Veterans’ Affairs engaged JJR to conduct a comprehensive structural assessment of the Springvale War Cemetery and Victorian Garden of Remembrance to report on current condition which highlighted any unsafe properties.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s expert engineers conducted a condition assessment in accordance with Australian Standards, code of practice and guidelines, including:
• AS3700-Masonry Structures.
• AS4678-Earth Retaining Structures; and
• VicRoads Structure Inspection Manual.
The client was provided with a structural assessment report, which included key findings from the inspection, photographic evidence, defects.
