The client was required to submit detailed design drawings in accordance with the SEQ W&S D&C Code, certified by a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) for a property in Mermaid Beach.
JJR Involvement :
CCTV survey of the existing sewer pipeline was obtained to confirm that the condition of the existing system could facilitate additional load.
The CCTV survey outcomes and deliverables included:
- Sewer line was in good condition;
- Hydraulic calculations were developed confirming that the existing sewer would have sufficient capacity for an additional housing connection; and
- Drawings were produced indicating a maintenance hole at the intersection of the proposed house drain sewer connection if connecting from the sewer in the road.
