Project Overview JJR engaged by Port Authority of New South Wales Port Authority to develop a Construction Traffic Management Plan (CTMP) for the Campbell’s Cove Upgrade. The objective was to ensure that traffic impacts were minimised during construction works, which were detailed in a schematic sketch provided by Port Authority.
JJR Involvement JJR developed a CTMP in accordance with Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) and Austroads main guidelines, specifications and policy documents. The CTMP delivered by JJR included:

  • Review of the provided survey information and schematic sketch;
  • Swept path assessments conducted for a 19m semi-trailer entering the work site (northern end of the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) precinct);
  • Swept path assessments conducted for typical bus/coach movements (southern forecourt area);
  • Safe pedestrian walkways identified and a designated path designed; and
  • A temporary CTMP layout plan (1x drawing) developed, including detailing temporary line marking, traffic control signage, and delineation / protection barriers.
