Gucci were upgrading their store on the ground level of 500 Collins Street in Melbourne’s CBD, including installation of an expanded mezzanine level. |
| JJR Involvement |
The scope of the structural design work included:
- Assessment of the relocation of the stair including modification of the floor around the connection of the stair;
- Structural design of connection and fixing of the recruitable fabric awnings to the building;
- Structural assessment of the relocation of the entrance door;
- Structural assessment of the modifying windows with plate glass; and
- Detailed design of structural upgrades for both permanent and temporary works.
