Project Overview Kingston City Council (Council) engaged JJR to provide the structural design of two boundary fences including a proposed and an optional fence to be designed and built. Structural design was conducted according to the latest Australian Standards
JJR Involvement JJR delivered a detailed design for the two boundary fences including posts, panels, footings, and connections and produced a computation report including the detail structural analysis and design complying with the Australian standards as well as relevant Council or VicRoads requirements and specifications including:

  • BCA, Building Code of Australia;
  • AS 0 – Structural Design Actions – General Principles;
  • AS 1 – Structural Design Actions – Permanent, Imposed, and other Actions;
  • AS 2 – Structural Design Actions – Wind Action;
  • AS 1664 – Aluminium Structures;
  • AS 3600 – Concrete Structures;
  • AS 4100 – Steel Structures Code; and
  • Relevant Council or VicRoads Guideline and Standard Drawings.
