JJR were engaged by Mount Alexander Shire Council (Council) to undertake a structural engineering review of proposed works to the Phee Broadway Theatre, Castlemaine.
JJR Involvement :
A review of proposed works to the Phee Broadway Theatre was undertaken by JJR’s experienced structural engineers, which involved:
- Review of available documentation and design drawings;
- Site inspection of the pulley structures, including upper steelwork to support the head pulley, hoists, hoist mounting steel and steel wire ropes; and
- Confirmation of the connections and loads imposed on the structure.
A comprehensive memorandum and Certificate of Compliance, which outlined the findings was prepared by Council and delivered to Council.
