Port of Melbourne engaged JJR to conduct geotechnical and environmental investigations at a 2.5ha site located on Coode Road, West Melbourne to assess soil conditions and environmental contamination for further development of the site into a container park.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s expert team carried out investigations into the existing subsurface soils of the site to inform the structural design of the proposed container park infrastructure.
The team provided a report to the client that included key findings of the geotechnical investigation, key design inputs, initial pavement design options for the container park, and comparison of geotechnical findings and other requirements for each option.
