| Project Overview | Corangamite Shire Council engaged JJR to design new footbridges to replace five existing bridges located along the historic Camperdown-Timboon Rail Trail. |
| JJR Involvement | JJR’s expert team conducted inspections, survey and environmental assessment, which provided data for preparing concept and detailed designs. The replacement bridges were designed to consider function, constructability, sustainability, with minimal impact on the natural and cultural historic values of the trail.
Detailed design drawings and a report were completed by JJR’s engineers and submitted to the client. A Site Environment Management Plan was prepared by JJR, which recommended three options for the construction program to ensure minimal impact on natural and historic values as well as recommended mitigation measures. |
