| Project Overview | Hobart City Council (Council) engaged JJR to undertake Level 3 Inspections for eight bridges, with asset management and service outputs for six of the bridges. Concept design for upgrades were prepared for the remaining two bridges. |
| JJR Involvement | Level 3 structural inspections and assessments were undertaken by JJR’s experienced structural engineers, which included structural analysis and assessment of the bridge members as per the latest Australian Standards, client requirements and general industry practice. The analysis and assessment included modelling bridges with applied load combinations to the model as per AS5100 and AS1170 series. A comprehensive investigation on structural design was prepared and delivered by JJR, which included exploring technical feasibility of strengthening options and replacement designs, as applicable. |
