Archerfield Airport were seeking assistance with the development of a utility services asset management system for the airport through the supervision of a Griffith University engineering student undertaking the Industrial Affiliates Program (IAP).
JJR Involvement :
The project involved the following tasks:
- Identifying best-practice asset management methodologies for each utility service on the airport (including but not limited to power / electrical, water, storm water, sewerage, fire, gas, communications etc.);
- Develop a customised system for Archerfield to optimise the whole of life costs of their utility service infrastructure; and
- Develop a baseline asset database for the continuous improvement of asset management at Archerfield Airport.
