JJR has been requested to provide a quote to conduct structural engineering services and RPEQ certificates for the noise barrier fence. It is understood that the noise barrier fence must be designed in accordance with:
- The Department of Transport and Main Roads’ Road Traffic Noise Management Code of Practice, Chapter 5 Specifications MRS15 and MRST15; and
- Standard Drawings Road Manual, Part 13 number 1607. The existing fence is 1.8m high which will need to be replaced with 2.4m high noise barrier fence. The new fence will be 59m long and 2.4m high.
JJR Involvement :
Required scope of work it as follows:
- Prepare structural design and documentations for noise barrier fence:
- Structural calculation report; and.
- Structural drawing package
- Provide RPEQ certificate of compliance
