There was a house purchased in Southport which included an illegal verandah extension (i.e. building approval was not obtained from Council).
JJR was engaged to conduct a structural analysis of an as-built structure against the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards for a verandah at a private residential property in Southport.
JJR Involvement :
Structural analysis was undertaken by JJR expert engineers, which involved site measurement of accessible areas and as-built CAD plan developed of visible structural elements.
A calculation report and structural analysis drawings demonstrated compliance with relevant structural requirements, with Forms 15 and 16 provided to the client.
