Maranoa Regional Council engaged JJR to review and re-design the line-marking plans at Roma Airport in accordance with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Part 139 (Aerodromes) Manual of Standards 2019 (Part 139 MOS).

JJR Involvement :

JJR’s experienced team reviewed and developed the proposed plans of Runway 18/36, Southern Taxiway and RPT Apron line-marking plans comprised the following elements:

  • Reviewing existing documentation, including survey data and current design drawings;
  • Conducting a swept path analysis with nominated design aircraft; and
  • Evaluating and ensuring compliance with CASA Part 139 MOS.

The client was provided with a technical report, which included all information required to instate the line-marking, including georeferenced Setout points, details for construction and a summary of the review outcomes.
