Central Highlands Regional Council commissioned JJR to facilitate Emerald Airport’s aerodrome emergency plan (AEP) tabletop exercise.
JJR Involvement :
JJR facilitated Emerald Airport’s AEP tabletop exercise, ensuring the exercise objectives met the requirements set out in the AEP. JJR also tested whether Emerald Airport’s procedures for an operational response to an emergency where compliant with the Manual of Standards Part 139.
Overall, JJR:
- Reviewed the AEP exercise objectives;
- Developed the AEP exercise scenario;
- Oversaw the conduct of the exercise;
- Managed the schedule of events;
- Rectified problems and made sure the exercise kept flowing;
- Co-ordinated the agency debrief; and
- Developed a post-exercise report.
