Project Overview :
Mackay Regional Council engaged JJR to carry out Level 3 bridge inspections and prepare remedial design drawings for three bridges within the Mackay region.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s expert engineers conducted detailed Level 3 inspections for each bridge, collating data of the bridge components, including measurement, analysis and the core extraction of Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR)-affected areas.
The client was provided with a Rehabilitation Report for each bridge, which included key findings from concrete sampling, concrete photographic testing, structural assessment and concept designs for crack rehabilitation.
