Mackay Airport engaged JJR to provide concept design and OLS plans of the Cross Runway 05/23 for the purpose of airport’s cross runway recommissioning.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s expert team provided a concept design for the re-establishment of the Cross Runway 05/23 in accordance with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Part 139 (Aerodromes) Manual of Standards 2019 (Part 139 MOS).
The team provided the client with design drawings and an option analysis report, which included physical and operational characteristics of the runway, impacts on existing infrastructure, and an analysis of options for the re-establishment of Runway 05/23 to achieve compliance with the CASA Part 139 MOS.
