Parkes Shire Council engaged JJR to prepare a new Australian Noise Exposure Forecast (ANEF) plan for Runway 04/22 and Runway 11/29 at Parkes Airport, which is a vital part of the transport network to the New South Wales Central West region.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s expert team developed the ANEF plan utilising the Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT) in accordance with the requirements outlined by National Airports Safeguarding Advisory Group (NASAG) Guideline A. The client was provided with a finalised ANEF, which detailed an assessment of future aircraft noise impacts through ANEF modelling and charts.
