JJR were engaged by Extendahand Property Services to assess and provide preliminary foundation design and calculations for pile loads for a Victorian urban display office.
JJR Involvement :
The expert engineers at JJR reviewed existing drawings and geotechnical report prior to calculating pile load calculations, which included determining maximum stump compressive/tensile/sheer loads, and bearing capacity.
The preliminary design drawings, including bored pier design were prepared in accordance with relevant Australian Standards including but not limited to the following:
- AS 1170;
- AS 1684.2; and
- AS 2870.
