Port of Melbourne engaged JJR to conduct engineering investigations of a pavement cavity that occurred adjacent to the foundation of the large shed in Appleton Dock D.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s experienced team conducted a strategic inspection and detailed engineering investigation to determine the cause of the cavity, risks to the foundation, and safety issues.
The team provided the client with a report for each of the two phases of investigation, which included key findings of the inspections, corrective actions, and recommendations. All observations were approved by a PEng certified engineer in Victoria.
