Kingstone City Council engaged JJR to conduct a detailed design for Sherwood Avenue flood wall as part of flood mitigation project.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s expert team undertook a structural design and calculation in accordance with the relevant Australia Standards including:
- 0:2002 Structural design actions – General principles;
- 1:2002 Structural design actions – Permanent, imposed and other actions;
- 2:2021 Structural design actions – Wind actions;
- AS4678:2002 Earth-retaining Structures; and
- AS3600:2018 Concrete structures AS4100:2020 Steel structures.
The client was provided with a report, which included the identification of potential data, as well as structural analysis and calculations for the concrete wall design.
