The City of Hobart was seeking a pedestrian walkway reconstruction from Darling Parade to Benjafield Terrace.
JJR Involvement :
JJR was engaged to develop the detailed design of the pedestrian walkway reconstruction.
This included a detailed feature survey of the corridor, potholing services to locate utilities, geotechnical investigations, detailed design of the walkway along with a report, preparation of a constructability report, and a review of as constructed drawings.
This project was particularly challenging due to the steep alignment of the connecting pathway and existing utility services.
