Hobart International Airport Pty Limited engaged JJR to review and design a new Precision Approach Path Indicator System for Hobart Airport to accommodate changes in design aircraft and runway threshold levels.
JJR Involvement :
JJR’s experienced engineers reviewed and redesigned the PAPI installations at Hobart Airport in accordance with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Part 139 (Aerodromes) Manual of Standards 2019 (Part 139 MOS), Visual approach slope indicator systems. The client was provided with a design package, which included design position, alignment, and light beam angles for the installation of the Runway 12/30 PAPI system for Airport.
