| Project Overview | Lightsource BP was seeking to upgrade several intersections at Wide Bay Hwy and an unnamed access road, as well as Gympie-Woolooga Rd and Tones Rd, in order to facilitate better access to the Woolooga Solar Farm. |
| JJR Involvement | JJR were engaged to assist in the upgrade of the intersections by undertaking civil engineering road design, providing new rural auxillary and rural channelised lanes designed to allow a 19m long semi-trailer carrying a 12m container to turn into the intersections in accordance with the Queensland Transport & Main Roads, Road Planning and Design Manual (RPDM).
JJR also completed a detailed design of stormwater drainage infrastructure and pavement design, and provided RPEQ certified pre-development and post-development dilapidation surveys of the road infrastructure on Wide Bay Hwy and Gympie Road-Woolooga Rd. |
